(Musical) Based on the 1992 hit film, Sister Act is sure to have audiences jumping to their feet. When disco diva Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a murder and is placed in a convent for her safety, she has to trade her sequined gowns for a black-and-white habit and her late-night partying for early-morning Mass. Though she's at odds with the rigid lifestyle and uptight Mother Superior, Deloris breathes new life into the choir, the congregation and the community at large. Powerful music and outrageous dancing combine to make Sister Act a feel-good story about the power of sisterhood.
