Encore Kids
Director - Dawn Bush Producer - Laura Flemmings
The Encore Kids group consists of children ages 6-12. Their mission is to serve as a community outreach program of the Port Tobacco Players (PTP) by providing year-round onstage opportunities for kids with an interest in and a flair for theatre. They perform at various community events throughout the year. We are a traveling troop serving the community. We give kids the opportunity to explore and develop their talent by educating kids in the various terms and aspects of live theatre. We perform at Nursing Homes, Adult Assisted Living, Chartiable Events, Town Hall functions and other places that may be asked of us to perform. Our audience could range from 25 people up to 150 depending on where we perform. Our goal as a traveling troop is to reach out to the community by providing them with quality performances done by the Encore Kids.
