(Modern Musical) Phone rings, door chimes - in comes Company, Stephen Sondheim's compelling, funny and heartfelt musical about love and marriage. Facing his 35th birthday, perpetual bachelor Robert finds himself questioning his singleton life. As he spends time with his friends, each at a different phase of married life, he sees their relationships at their best and worst - and most human - moments. Through their trials and triumphs, Robert begins to see the merits of not being alone, but "being alive." Company is an unflinching love letter by one of America's greatest contemporary composers to the chaotic and sublime possibilities of life. (Adult themes and language - not suitable for children)
